My name is Lola Culbertson, I am a 23-year-old artist from Salt Lake City, Utah. Art has been my tool for self-expression, chaneling ideas, and building community for as long as I can remember. Creating with any medium- be it drawing, painting, sculpting, or glass- has the ability to completly captivate and enthrall me, though oil painting is my favorite medium. Using my hands to create art brings me the greatest peace of mind, excitement, and clarity.

Though art is my passion, I am currently attaining my Bachelor’s in social work and psychology, and work as a bartender and server. The meaningful connections I foster in these settings fuel my drive to share in creation with others. I am motivated by a future in which building relationships and creating art is the center of my life.
